Thanks to everyone who has commented so far. Getting the feeling that this is a pretty young (though amazingly talented) forum. Would love to hear from some other writers, or get pointed to their work - can't figure out how to search properly.

I am not a professional photographer; I've just shared some of my favorite photos over the years because I feel they express something beautiful that could benefit others if shared. I'm the kind of artist who likes to observe and see divinity wherever it is present, and I try to capture that, hoping that others can see through my eyes. Photography is great for this because I didn't have to be technical and it got my attention off myself for a change.
Writing, which is my true profession, has been much more challenging. I've written tens of thousands of pages of material. And, I have destroyed almost everything I have written because it is garbage as far as benefiting others is concerned. It has served its use as a self-discovery tool, but beyond that, it hasn't been something that I feel adds value to others.
I've recently reached a new place though, and concurrently found this site, which I just love! So I will be selectively publishing my new material as I complete things that seem to have some redeeming value for other folks. Hope you will take a look at these pieces as they are added, and look forward to hearing from you about what you think about them. I'd like to publish this year, and perhaps with your help, that could happen. I will also try to share what I've learned with other aspiring writers. So happy to find this community!
